Pearson International Conflict Seminar | Northern Ireland
Students traveled to Northern Ireland to learn the history of The Troubles and visit local sites in Belfast, Derry, and more. Students also joined the Global Conflict | The Human Impact Conference, in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the pivotal Good Friday Agreement.
Unique to the Pearson Institute, these faculty- and staff-led programs focus on critical issues of global conflict. Harnessing the vast international network of the Institute, students engage with government officials, NGOs, community leaders, locals, and more, in order to gain a holistic perspective of conflict in the region.
