The Thomas L. Pearson and The Pearson Family Members Foundation is a US-based private philanthropic organization that seeks to encourage the study and resolution of global conflicts. This mission reflects the legacy of Rev. Dr. Richard L. and Ramalee E. Pearson, in combination with the Pearson Family’s continued commitment to make a difference in the global society in which we live.
As the past Global Benefactor of the Nobel Peace Center and the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, the Pearson Family has a demonstrated interest in the resolution of global disputes and conflicts. In 2015, the Pearson Family announced a transformative $100 million gift to the University of Chicago to create The Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts and The Pearson Global Forum.
