Our Enemies Will Vanish

The Pearson Institute will feature Yaroslav Trofimov, who will discuss his recent book, “Our Enemies Will Vanish: The Russian Invasion and Ukraine’s War of Independence.” Trofimov traces the war’s decisive moments, from the battle for Kyiv to more recent developments, and discusses the importance of this moment in history.

Yaroslav Trofimov is a Foreign Correspondent of The Wall Street Journal. He has written three books of narrative non-fiction and one novel. Trofimov’s latest novel, “No Country for Love,” follows the hard choices Debora makes as Ukraine, caught between two totalitarian ideologies, turns into the deadliest place in the world ― and she has to protect those she loves most.
