Congo Calling: A Documentary

Join The Pearson Institute and Harris Public Policy's International Development Policy Association for the North American premiere of the documentary film Congo Calling and a conversation with Director Stephan Hilpert and Harris Professor and film protagonist Raúl Sánchez de la Sierra.

About the Film: In crisis-ridden eastern Congo, three European development aid workers are forced to question what it means to help. Featuring deeply personal insights from its subjects, the film asks a myriad of questions, helping to nuance, humanize, and problematize the question of the Global North's relationship with Africa. Watch the trailer here
