The Second Annual Pearson Global Forum

Weeks before the thirtieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, The Pearson Institute will host a historic conference. Themed Beyond Walls | Deconstructing Conflict, the second annual Pearson Global Forum will convene researchers, policymakers, practitioners and students in Berlin, Germany.

The Narrow Corridor DC Book Events

Institute Director James Robinson and MIT Professor Daron Acemoglu, coauthors of Why Nations Fail, have written a new book, The Narrow Corridor: States, Societies, and the Fate of Liberty. Professor Robinson will appear in Washington, DC to discuss the new book.

Careers in Conflict and Development: Sutherland Miller

Join The Pearson Institute for the first edition of our Careers in Conflict & Development event series, featuring Sutherland Miller, Project Director/Chief of Party of the Research Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) at NORC at the University of Chicago. RTAC is a four-year, $24 million project designed to leverage the academic community to provide evidence-based research and technical assistance for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
