Summer of Social Impact: Chris Blattman

How to stop violence? The world is awash with groups fighting, from Hindu-Muslim riots, to civil war in Syria or South Sudan, to shootings on the streets of Chicago. Lots of solutions are proposed. The real question is: what is the problem? Without a proper diagnosis, any solution is unlikely to work. Chris Blattman, the Ramalee E. Pearson Professor of Global Conflict Studies will present his research as part of Harris Public Policy's Summer of Social Impact series.
