Lina Haddad Kreidie

Lina Haddad Kreidie is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Gender Studies, and the Academic Director of the NEA/AC Middle East Initiative for Gender Studies Scholarship program at the Lebanese American University (LAU). Kreidie holds a Ph.D. in political science with a concentration in political psychology from the University of CA, Irvine. Kreidie is a research consultant on Women’s Empowerment for Intisar Foundation-NGO. Kreidie is a Jerome and Hazel Tobis fellow at the Interdisciplinary Center for the Scientific Study of Ethics and Morality; University of CA, Irvine: She also served for ten years-2012- 2021 as a Council Member of theUniversity of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
Dr. Kreidie’s research interest is mainly on the Middle East Region, with a focus on marginalized communities -mainly displaced and refugee women, and on gender and public policy.
