Jessica Anderson, MPP'21, is a consultant with World Bank.  Previously she was a consultant with Mercy Corps, where she supports the development of a social cohesion toolkit.

While at Harris Public Policy, Anderson worked as a research assistant for Harris PhD Student Mariella Gonzales and Assistant Professor at UC Santa Barbara Tamma Carleton. In the summer of 2020, she worked as a research assistant at the United States Institute of Peace.

Prior to her time at the University of Chicago, Anderson spent five years in Washington, DC at Global Communities, working with not-for-profit organizations engaged in global development. She has contributed to program management and proposal development across a variety of regions and sectors, with a focus on programs related to social cohesion and conflict transformation. Previously she worked as a MENA project assistant at the National Democratic Institute and as a research assistant at Georgetown University.

Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in foreign service from Georgetown University and studied abroad in Amman, Jordan.
